The Premier is new in 2009 and is the most contemporary offering from Parker for some time. The Premier uses a combination of fine machine and hand manufacturing techniques. Handmade solid gold nibs and finely machined barrels and caps give the pens a bold shape and a strong perception of weight and balance. The base material of the pen is brass with silver or 23K gold plating. The Premier fountain pen nibs are made from 18K gold, rhodium plated in parts or in full to match the trim of the pen. The 5 finishes in the range use the core skills of Parker manufacturing – The lacquered finishes have 4 coats and are available in silver or gold plated trim. The lacquered black is also available with a chiselled tartan pattern contrasting cap. Finally the graduated chiselled finishes in silver or gold plate show off the precision manufacturing techniques used in the Parker Premier The Parker Premier pens are available in Fountain, roller ball and ballpoint pen versions to suit all writing styles. Each Premier is manufactured and tested in France and presented in a prestigious gift box.
