Introducing the Waterman pen range
Style & substance
Waterman's history as a definitively stylish and innovative pen brand begun in 1884, when American Lewis Edson Waterman received his first patent for his capillary feed. His company quickly became a major competitor in the hands of his son Frank, but was to be succeeded by its French arm after World War 2. Drawing on the elegance and sophistication of French fashion and haute couture, the company continued to design high quality writing instruments and is today known for its quirky designs. Identified by their precious metal detailing and superior lacque finishes, Waterman pens are an essential component of any connoisseur's collection.
Elegance in design
Many Waterman models have become highly covetable and well-known. The unique, fluid shape of the Serenite, the timeless elegance of the Carerene, the ultra-feminine and ever-changing Audace or the Jazz styling of the Charleston are instantly recognisable as Waterman designs. However, Waterman never sacrifices function for the sake of good looks-dash; you'll find technical craftsmanship and excellence are paramount at Waterman's design centre at Saint-Herblain. With a Waterman pen, you are investing in both long-lasting technical and design flair.
