The Falcon's shaped, soft 14K gold nib gives a responsive feel under a light writing touch. Lacquer over a metal body adds substance without distracting from the nib's distinctive profile. It suits writers who enjoy a yielding nib; it should not be forced like a calligraphy flex nib.
