Following a long period of dedicated planning an design, the Parker Pen Company has reproduced their Parker 51 collection. Each pen is expertly crafted from special materials, staying true to the original 1941 version with a couple of modern twists. It is one of the most popular writing instruments in the world and makes a fantastic writing companion for professionals and creative writers.
What is it made from?
The barrel and grip zone are styled from precious black resin, polished to gloss-like quality. The cap is structured from brass metal with a bevelled texture and gold plated finish. The cap also features 23K gold plated trims, the iconic Parker pocket clip and a jewel embellishment on top. The nib is produced from solid 18K gold and is discretely protected by the hooded grip section, offering a comfortable and clean writing experience.
What kind of refills does it use?
The pen is provided with a long Parker Quink Ink Cartridge. We recommend these for creators who write frequently or for long periods. Mini versions of the ink cartridge are also available separately, which are great for people who only use their fountain pens on special occasions, such as writing letters to a companion. You can also use bottled ink with the fountain pen by fitting it with a Parker Deluxe Converter. This is essentially an empty ink cartridge that you can fill with a fountain pen ink of your choice.
