Introduction
The Esterbrook Camden is a popular choice among writers and pen collectors. This model is a limited edition and features a design inspired by the spectacular effect seen only in the Northern Lights. This natural phenomenon is witnessed most commonly in the Arctic and Antarctic, showcasing a mixture of purples, blues and greens in the night sky as a result of solar winds in the atmosphere. This is where the pen derives its colour and shimmering details, beautifully presented in the style of the Esterbrook Camden.
About the Design
The pen is modelled from precious resin with a blend of purples, white and glitter. This gives the pen a deep and rich appeal. The nib of the pen is built from stainless steel, finished with unique purple-coloured PVD plating. The cap comes complete with a chrome pocket clip and contains a special mechanism which propels the cap away from the pen as you remove it.
What type of refills does it use?
The pen uses standard international ink cartridges, which are very accessible within the pen industry. The pen can also be adapted for use with bottled ink by inserting a fountain pen ink converter (included).
